Let's talk underground March 21st

With the outbreak of wack mainstream music on the rise, where does one turn to for AWESOME music?

The UNDERGROUND!


Underground music has been going unnoticed for awhile now, with only few acts actually receiving huge recognition from mainstream followers. A few higher ups are Tech N9ne, Hopsin, and even Machine Gun Kelly. These Unsigned wonders bring more to hip hop and music in general. It doesn't even stop with rap, it even continues and spreads out to other genres. Heavy metal bands are only REALLY good when they stay with an underground feel with exception of a few. Slipknot has brought a bright light with them once they hit a mainstream step.

BUT what does "Mainstream" mean to you? How many variations of this word can be made up? When I think of mainstream, it's difficult. There's a fine line between still pushing it mainstream and "SELLOUT" mainstream. I think the way Lil Wayne is going is most def sellout mainstream. Lil Wayne before the Carter 3 was dope. Up to the Carter 2 he was a still pushing mainstream. Now the way he's switched it up in the wrong way, I can't stand any of his new stuff...and come on, what is he wearing? Conforming tot he ERA of colored skinny jeans and skateboarding? Sounds familiar to the whole Audio Push and New Boyz situation. Now don't get me wrong I like Audio Push and skateboarding is a second passion to me if I had to choose one. BUT the style is too much, everyone has their own swag though, huh? yeeeah...

What i'm trying to say is that there are still artists that aren't signed yet and are killing it! Artists like Robby and I are still grinding trying to put out name on some sort of radar! Another one of my buddies is Aaron Chriz, the guy has been doing music for a long time and still trying to get that buzz ya' know? It's the grind and drive that makes you that artist. That artist that will push music to it's limits without disturbing the nature of it.

If you're and Unsigned artist keep pushing it till you can;t no more, it will pay off in the end! -
