Lauren Alaina Is Doing Just Peachy, Thank You.
Okay, so yesterday morning I posted my grades for each of our Top 13 Idol contestants. So today... we're going to see how that stacked up to the rest of America!
To start the show, as always, there's the group performance. The Top 13 performed Stevie Wonder's "Always." It was enjoyable, I didn't fast forward through it which is fairly high praise from me. The standouts to me during the group was Jermaine, DeAndre, and Skylar. All three slayed their parts and stood out. Didn't really feel Phil in this, however, his voice is so different it's always going to clash with the rest.
Then, there's that stupid ass cheesy Ford music video. Stop that, Idol. They make me angry.
Our live performances this show were by Lauren Alaina and Mary J. Blige. Good to see Lauren's doing good, looked like she had fun. Mary, well, it's like all big acts that come on the show... not a lot of enthusiasm and boring.
Finally, the results. My bottom three for the guys was: DeAndre, Jeremy, & Heejun. That's not to say I thought they aren't good, just based solely off their performances Tuesday (I'm a huge Heejun fan). For the ladies... I had Elise, Shannon, and Hollie. Girls are surprisingly close together this year. Comparatively, America's bottom 3 guys were Joshua, Jermaine, and Jeremy; and the girls were Elise, Erika, and Shannon. I don't agree with Jermaine and EVP, they were damned good America. Get your heads right!!!!! Now, there's obviously a agenda this season to make sure a girl wins, so it was obvious when they announced the bottom two as Jeremy and Elise, what was going to happen. Poor Jeremy... such a nice kid. Such is Idol though, and we say goodbye to one of the nicest kids ever. Goodbye Jeremy Rosado.
